[Sport]: Nigeria Footballers Abroad- Enyeama keeps 16th clean sheet as Yobo impresses in Norwich victory



The Super Eagles first choice goalkeeper was in superb form making some good saves during the weekend.

Joseph yobo was at his best as Norwich City handed visiting Tottenham Hotspur a 1-0 defeat at Carrow Road.

The Super Eagles skipper combined well with Sebastien Bassong in the Canaries’ defence to thwart the attacking forays of Emmanuel Adebayor.

Yobo has played three times this season for Norwich since his loan move from Fenerbahce.

Osaze Odemwingie featured for 90 minutes as Stoke City lost 1-0 away to Manchester City.

The Potters had fancied their chances of running away with a point before Yaya Toure’s goal gave Manuel Pellegrini’s side victory in the tough encounter.

Osaze has played four games in the EPL this season with a goal to show for it.

Victor Moses was a second half substitute as Liverpool survived Swansea scare in a seven goal thriller at Anfield Road.
The Super Eagles star came on for Daniel Sturridge in the 79th minute and his
contribution ensured that the Reds grabbed victory at home.
The game was his 14th game of the season since he joined from Chelsea.

He boasts of two goals in the English Premier League.

Victor Anichebe came in as a 44th minute substitute in West Bromwich Albion’s 1-1 draw at the Hawthorns on Saturday.

The former Everton goal poacher has earned the tag as a super sub after
coming from the bench to salvage a point for the Baggies against Chelsea and Liverpool.
It was Anichebe’s 16th appearance in the Premiership with two goals to his name.

Mikel Obi was not named by Jose Mourinho in Chelsea’s 1-0 victory of Everton on Saturday afternoon.
The Eagles midfield maestro is reported to be battling with fitness as he remains a major doubt for the Roman Army’s clash away to Galatasary on Wednesday in the Champions League.

Mikel has featured for the Blues 18 times in the Premiership this
season.

Kenneth Omeruo was handed his second start for Middlesbrough as they held visiting Leeds United to a 0-0 draw at the Riverside.

The Super Eagles player featured for the entire duration of the game as a
centre back.
His team are yet to score a goal in their
last six games.
