Olivier Giroud has marked his return to the Arsenal team with a classy brace against Sunderland – as he bids to put a tough few weeks behind him.
The French forward has not started the last two Gunners matches since he was forced to apologise for cheating on his wife with a model.
Giroud had vowed on Twitter to do all he could to win back the love and respect of wife Jennifer, and after being restored to the Arsenal lineup for the clash with Sunderland, he paid tribute to her after firing his side into an early lead.
